This short Santoku blade is forged from 1084 high carbon steel and features a macassar ebony handle with g-10 liner and mosaic pins. The cutting edge is 5 5/8” long and the overall length is 10”. The sculpted handle has an upsweep angle from the cutting edge to clear the cutting board and provide a comfortable cutting angle. The blade is 1 5/8” tall at the heel and is forged very thin to about 3/32” thick at the spine.
